Dear All,

This is Shin Taniguchi of JSOL.
One of users has trouble setting up PyDYNA pre-server, and we deal with this issue.

We have a question about connecting to PyDYNA pre-server.
The server module "ansys-pydyna-pre-server.zip" includes README_rst.txt.
In this text message, following explanation is described.

#. Set environment variable:
Variable name: ANSYS_PYDYNA_PRE_SERVER_PATH
Variable value:
Example of variable value: C:\pydyna\ansys-pydyna-pre-server

But we can execute PyDYNA without this environment variable.
Is the environment variable "ANSYS_PYDYNA_PRE_SERVER_PATH" necessary?

Now, we define the environment as localhost, and the user is same.
We and the user install Python 3.10.8, and the user uses virtual environment with Anaconda.

This is a user issue, and we would appreciate a response as soon as possible.

Best Regards,
Shin Taniguchi/JSOL
