Knowing that we can access local files from the PDF, as can be reviewed here: typst/typst#2695 (comment). At this moment, pdfpc allows playing local files within its GUI without having to exit the presentation tool, would it be possible to add support for the pdfs generated with Typst?
I’ve been trying but pdfpc does not recognize the videos, they only appear as clickable.

This requires video/multimedia support in the actual PDF file, as outlined here. For an implementation of this in the typst/pdf-writer see this PR: typst/pdf-writer#31.
Once that is added, this still needs to be wired up in typst itself. I would guess that there is nothing specific to polylux in this regard, once this is implemented in the above PDF standard-conform way.
