How do you import these dashboard JSON templates into Amazon Elasticsearch Service?

Trying to import any of the JSON templates in this repo doesn't seem to do anything.
I'm running Amazon ES 2.3 with Kibana 4.

Same here! But I am running Amazon ES 5.1. How do we import pre-defined dashboard in ES 5.1 Kibana ? I can see import option Management/Kibana/Edit Saved Objects but console gives following error:
