Can't receive messages if the distance is more than 1 meter #6

I can't receive the message if the distance between devices is more than 1 meter.

i tried to rise the gain in "quiet-profiles.json" file, but the maximum level is just "gain": 0.4 which make no difference.

Is there a settings enable me to communicate across the room, about 20 of 15 meter?

I found the best profile to be ultrasound-experimental. Indeed, devices must be very close for messages to be received.
