Dark mode Icon disappears on click And navbar alignment

I have encountered a bug where the dark mode icon disappears upon clicking it. This issue may be related to CSS styling. Additionally, I have noticed that the alignment of the navbar is not properly configured, which may contribute to the overall user experience issues.

Solution:
I would like to take on this task to investigate and resolve the CSS issues affecting the dark mode icon and improve the navbar alignment.

Please assign me this task so I can work on improving the overall design and functionality.

Steps to Reproduce

1.Navigate to the application.
2.Click on the dark mode icon.
3.Observe that the icon disappears.

Expected Behavior

The dark mode icon should remain visible after clicking it, and the navbar should maintain proper alignment for better accessibility.
