Updating your VRT.NU addon

Automatic updates

By default your Kodi setup will be updating its repositories every 6 hours (4 times a day). If a newer version is available and you did not disable automatic updates of the addon, your Kodi will automatically update the VRT.NU addon to the latest available version.

Get an update faster

If you know a newer version has been released, you can speed up this automatic update. Simple go to the following menu:

Settings » Add-ons » Install from repository » Kodi Add-on repository

Either right-click on Kodi Add-on repository and select Check for updates in the context-menu. Or go into the Kodi Add-on repository and click to the left to select Check for updates.

This will update the repository that holds the VRT.NU addon and will cause it to update to the latest version available.

Manual installation

If the latest release is not yet available in the Kodi repository, you can download ZIP file from our GitHub releases page, transfer it to your Kodi system and install it manually:

Settings » Add-ons » Install from zip file

then select the ZIP file.
