It might make sense to store the information that an URI has been deleted, so that a user knows that an URI existed at some point in an instance. For that we could add the history functionality to the URI model. But this would make apis_history a fixed component of core. An option would be to register the Uri model for the history module in the apis_history module. That way the Uris history is only tracked if the apis_history model is enabled
