Close Google One tap from code

Is there a way to close the Google One tap programmatically? Currently, in my application, I have the Google social login enabled as well as standard email+password login. Right now, when the user logs in with the password, the One tap still appears after page refresh, even though the user is logged in. I want to first check if the user is logged in and only then show the One tap, if it's possible. Any help would be appreciated. Recommendations on different approaches to achieve this would be great too.
