Description

After editing code while saving a medium-sized project frequently & using Search and Replace after about half an hour in the Mac IDE, RAM usage climbs to more than 2 GB & has lots of ports open. This results in stutters when editing code & using Search and Replace. This happens regardless of Feather being enabled or not.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open GameMaker
  2. Edit medium-to-large project while saving frequently & using the Search & Replace menu.
  3. Notice slowdowns after a while

IDE v2024.11.0.179 Runtime v2024.11.0.227

Which operating system(s) are you seeing the problem on?

Mac 15.3.1
