There is a suggestion to change the mechanics of how the light works now. For example, on recent version when choosing a profile without cinematic effects, every time the character looks up from the horizon or looks at the sky, the world around suddenly becomes much darker. I suggest minimizing this effect or getting rid of it altogether, because it's hard to focus on the gameplay when the screen dims and then brightens again with a little camera movement.

I think you're talking about auto-exposure? Which I don't think any profiles modify, however when there are many effects covering the screen it may be more obscured. I'll look into it.
