Desktop apps in App Stores

Please make Desktop apps available in any stores (Windows Store, Mac Store). Currently only Installation Files (exe, dmg etc.,) are available for manual download and install. Download through default app stores gives easy visibility, download and update process for users.

Please see this issue for App Store information. As with the Mac App Store, it will be rather challenging to release a fully-featured version of the app in the Microsoft Store. We worked with Microsoft last year to gain a waiver for the features we implement requiring admin access, which is not allowed in sandboxed apps, and were denied.
