@huangyy126, please do the following:
If this still doesn't work, would you be able to join Discord, so we can debug the issue live together? |
After trying the above, the computer is still not connecting to the node. Also, let me provide feedback on the Chrome extension. Right now the Chrome extension can connect to the node, but there is no speed when connecting and it won't open any web pages (the Chrome extension was tried once or twice in 2023 and it worked fine then). I'll try Windscribe again when I have time in the future, and I look forward to the software getting better and better. |
@huangyy126 could you please either email me at |

@windscribe-eva-01 @huangyy126 I found a solution for this. Please refer to https://github.com/Windscribe/Desktop-App/issues/167 |
Feedback on usage in China (my case only): From October 1, 2023 to around April 10, 2024, the software will basically be able to connect to nodes using the UDP protocol. From April 11, 2024, the computer could not connect to any node, and the Android version could hardly connect to any node (the Android version managed to connect 2-3 times using the stealth protocol), and the connection problems may be related to the specific environment in China. I enabled anti-censorship in the settings and tried each protocol, also using the latest version v2.10.12-beta, but the problem was not solved. I've also tried other VPNs, using OpenVPN, Wireguard, Shadow, UDP, ZoogTLS and other protocols, and have had examples of successful connections. Of course, due to the special environment in China, many VPNs are unavailable, such as TunnelBear, PlanetVPN, FlyVPN, BrightVPN, SpeedifyVPN, TouchVPN, UrbanVPN, VPN4Test, VPN House, X-VPN, iTopVPN and so on.
