Flatpak version

Hi. is it possible to package this as Flatpak and publish on Flathub? Windscribe will get increased exposure on Flathub and the flatpak will generally work across all of the major distros.

Currently, ProtonVPN appears to be the only open source VPN on Flathub so having Windscribe on there will let many users know there's a great alternative.

Hi. We recently investigated doing this, and found there will be some significant technical hurdles to overcome. Thus, Flatpak support has been put on the back-burner until we have resources available to investigate it further.

Hopefully, distro-agnostic flatpak packaging can be done this year. Currently, it does not run on postmarketOS mobile, Alpine Linux or the immutable and atomic distros.

The latest 2.13 app runs on the immutable Fedora Silverblue/Bazzite and openSUSE MicroOS distros. If you find it does not, please open a new issue. Flatpak support still remains on the back-burner for the foreseeable future.

That's great to hear. I wish the appimage ran on Alpine and postmarketOS - haven't been able to run any appimage on my mobile yet...
