Including the meta updates about the bug tracker in the repository is a great idea. Currently, this is done via a section in the
README.mdfile.Unfortunately, this is hard to scale as the project becomes older.
Instead, I suggest to use GitHub Discussions for this Docs. They allow to create posts in markdown and also enable the community to leave comments for feedback, if desired.
The "Announcement" category would be perfectly suited for such a post.
For better visibility, the discussions could be linked from the README.
