I was told to post here if I couldn't find a solution elsewhere. I'm using a brand-new M4 Mac Mini with 32GB of memory, running the latest version of macOS Sequoia 15.2 (as of this post). Everything was working perfectly until about a week ago, but now I'm experiencing major issues with Dota 2.
The game frequently stutters and screen tears, especially during team fights. I haven't made any changes to my settings or setup—these problems just started out of nowhere. My setup includes a new LG Ultragear 240Hz monitor, and I’ve ensured that Vsync is enabled in-game and set to variable on my Mac to keep them in sync.
At first, I thought it might be an internet issue, but the screen tearing suggests otherwise. I’m not tech wizard but I know enough to troubleshoot basic things. If anyone has insights or suggestions to fix this, I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you!
