clang 18 doesn't support CTAD well for atomic_ref, see: #5 (comment) .
So we spell the type out as a workaround, i.e., atomic_ref<T>{ref} instead of just atomic_ref{ref}.

Once clang-19 releases in August, we can clean this up.
