Is it possible to get ascending and descending sorting, but begin from the end of lines?

I'm often working with structures which have some "naming-additional_info-coordinates".
Is it possible to made sorting in ascending and descending order but considering data from the end of line.
As sometimes middle additional info cold be pretty different and simple column edition to put sort info in the begin of line is pretty difficult. And sometimes it is pretty heavy number of lines to do edits in file.
