Thinstation attempts to parameterise many of the major functions available in those applications, but only covers a small percentage of what each application uses. Other parameters can be passed via the SESSION_n_<package>_OPTIONS parameter.
For a list of all parameters supported by an application and the general usage of those applications, please refer to the documentation for those parameters and applications on their respective websites. The list below will help find some of the major applications/packages used by Thinstation.
- Blackbox as the Window Manager (desktop)
- BootSplash FAQ for the bootsplash whilst loading
- BusyBox as the major command line tool
- Citrix Receiver (ICA Client)
- IceWM as the Window Manager (desktop)
- xtdesk for icons etc. on the desktop (< v2.4)
- idesk for icons etc. on the desktop (v 2.4 >)
