Describe the bug
Ive followed the installation steps closely and even did it multiple times, but whenever i try to open among us, it appears on the taskbar, without any icon and crashes after a few seconds. I did everything that i thought would fix the issue, like updating among us to public-previous on steam.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to the modded among us folder
  2. Open Among Us
  3. See error

Expected behavior
The game running like normal

I currently have the same issue, but I am on linux. I downloaded the correct depot and have overridden the original game files (downgraded among us to v2024.6.18, this works, when I start I got that exact version) and after that I extracted the mod in the same folder. (Linux specific: yes I also did the protontricks winhttp enabling). When I boot it, it just crashes
