Removing Edit Lock from Downloaded Cores

There is an edit lock on cores that are not your own that resets paint and decals. There's a trick to preserve the paint by backing out of the paint menu and discarding changes, but you still lose the decals. It would be better if the edit lock could somehow be removed with CT in a way that doesn't lose the decals - possibly by copying it into a user tab and making the game think it's the player's design.

Assuming there's nothing actually special for the presets, that should be doable.
Might look into it at some point.
