Custom stove/oven features. Maybe also things like a toaster, mixing bowl, pan, etc.

could be cool to implement something where the player plays a GUI minigame to determine the quality of the cooked food

yea, all custom stations with guis. Each station will have a button in the gui which shows all available recipes for that station, and when you click on a recipe you start cooking it. some more stations: cutting board, microwave, crushing bowl
