Just tested this on the latest build. I'm not getting this problem, can you provide more detail?

Tried again, no dice. I'm gonna go ahead and close this. Reopen if its still a problem and we can discuss it more.

Here is a reproduce:

  • Headphones plugged in = sound good
  • Unplug = no sound
  • Replug in = still no sound

Other:

  • No headphone plugged in = sound good
  • Plug in headphones = sound still plays from speaks and does not auto-switch
  • Unplug = still speakers

Fixing both of these pathways would be fix so that the sound auto-switches like most other games.

The thing is, the sound auto switches on my computer, no problem... does this happen on the steam version as well?

I'll try reproducing this on my other laptops and see if it's common or just something weird about my desktop

We discovered that this wasn't an issue on Michael and mine's computers because of the fact that headphones and speakers share the same device. Whereas that isn't necessarily the case on a desktop computer. Should be an easy fix tho.

Definitely something we should fix with the new engine and make sure it's working on that end.
