somehow installing your nodes replaces the whole flow.json file in my project folder
this is a massive issue and should never happen - I am troubleshooting
My whole flows are gone after installing your nodes !

this is just ridiculous !!! installing your node should never ever replace flow.json !
you made no mention of this anywhere.
I am pretty much lost months of work and I dont think I kept any backups - the .flow.backup is somehow reflecting your change only
