Is the shared_secret tied to the account or the device? I managed to get it with steam desktop auth and now I'm wondering if I can change back mobile auth with the code I got?

Hey Legitti, sorry for the late reply.

If you change your authentication at all then you will have a new shared_secret.

Unfortunately you cannot set it to desktop auth and then switch to mobile :(
