Managing and sharing portal map markers across multiple players via the cartography table is a miserable experience. XPortal already eases the pain by providing a list of all the portals that exist, and allowing you to ping portals to figure out where they are. What would be even better is if portals could be automagically marked on the map, which is a feature that the Portal Markers plugin advertises. Unfortunately, that plugin doesn't seem to do anything when using XPortals.

Is there a way to adapt that plugin to work with XPortals, or incorporate similar functionality into XPortals?

Hi @lumpus, thank you for your support.

The reason Portal Markers doesn't work anymore is because it uses Valheim's old method of finding portal targets. This had an overhaul in the Hildir's Request update.

I think I can add this functionality to XPortal, I'll have a look when I have more time :)

Here for the same reason. Xportal 50/50 works with "DudeWhere'sMyPortal" It will add/remove pins on creation and dismantle, but it does not label them. Also these pins seem to work with servermap share as well.

It would be great if Xportal handled the auto/pinning and labeling
