The Bash / Shell Novice course covers lots of commands each with lots of options. Even then the set of commands covered in the lesson is very far from a complete set of useful commands. Given this then it may be difficult for a student of the course to apply the material at a later date.

A Cheat Sheet with between 10 and 30 of the most popular / useful commands along with the common 3 or 5 options for each command, maybe with an example and synopsis might be a good thing to give to the students. At most this should be limited to a maximum 2 sides of A4 paper and not in super small font (I feel that we need to be selective and pick the right commands / options rather than trying to be comprehensive).

A Cheat Sheet could also be branded with RSG logos, web address and other contact information for marketing purposes. The Cheat Sheet could be handed out at the beginning or end of the course. In addition the Cheat Sheet could be added as a PDF download from the RSG website as further marketing material (Bash Cheat Sheet must be a commonly Googled term?).

We could also do similar for the Git, Python and R courses.
