Модуль знает свою ширину и может "обновлять кадр" т.е. загрузка опорного кадра(всей строки) далее сдвиг по столбцам.

Можно реализовать как

скользящее окно.

Загружаем строку(набор столбцов) всю, первая команда отдает нам видимый кадр и далее окно сдвигается по столбцу.

  def __init__(self, width: int):
    pass

  def updateValue(self, columns):
    pass
  
  def next(self) -> List[LedDriver.Command.Base]:
   pass
