It can be enchanted with any Helmet Enchantments (Vanilla or Modded).

When it is powered, it has extra Armor and Armor Toughness:

• Not Powered: + 7 Armor and + 7 Armor Toughness
• Powered: + 10 Armor and + 9 Armor Toughness
