Expected:
Firefox navigates to download of https://download-installer.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/firefox/releases/*freshversion*/win*bits*/*currlang*/Firefox%20Installer.exe

Actual result:
Firefox seemingly ignores the button click.

Additional details:
with enabled and disabled extension, the HTML source of the named page is the same.
