Feature Request: Multi Line Editing

Feature Request

I'd like to have the ability to edit multiple lines at once like in Notepad++ where I can hold CTRL and select places for my cursers or use ALT to click and drag cursers onto lines.

Example as follows in Notepad++

I had this idea in mind for some time now. The problem is that it's pretty difficult to add.
