After a lot of trial and error, I think I narrowed down an issue caused by TML64. The Serris fight can cause a memory corruption crash. No specific mod seems to trigger this. It seems to happen faster the more memory TML64 is using. I'm not even sure if this is something the Metroid Mod team can fix, given the experimental unstable nature of TML64. Still, there could be a chance the Metroid Mod team could fix it.
I'll contact Dradonhunter and see if he has heard of this issue before.
If there's a fix, we'll find it. Thanks for taking some time to do some searching.
For everyone reading this:
We have not tested Metroid Mod using TML64, since we're developing and compiling with 32bit tModLoader.
We will try to fix this, but it will take time.
