When importing a wallet, we have an intermediate preview screen showing wallet selection (bip44,49,84) these sync all the wallets. After syncing if the wallet is confirmed, the app naviagates to the home page and resyncs and waits to show the balance and txs. This info should already exist in the db and should be shown immediately.
