There are two main reasons, one being invisible due to newly added textures and the other being broken existing textures. In the first case, I have to do additional work to the new textures that are not yet visible. There is no choice but to wait until I finish my work.
If the existing texture is broken however, the index file is probably broken. This usually occurs after updating or re-installing FFXIV with mods enabled. In this case, you may need to restore the index via textools via help
→ download index backups
. If this does not work, you can try to manually download them from the repo here or in the worst case, reinstall the game. To prevent this, it is recommended that mods be disabled using the help
→ start over
function in TexTools just before patching.

No. It's not that it is impossible, just not very intuitive. More than anything else, you can't get the color you want perfectly.

- Input command /penumbra in chatlog
- Move to 'Import Mods' tab
- Click 'Import TexTools Modpacks' button
- Select you want .ttmp2
When you specify a path in the Penumbra settings
tab, not make the Penumbra Root Folder
in the ffxiv game's folder, but instead somewhere close to a drive, like C:\XIVMods
