2FA from multiple smartcards on old sssd

Hello. I immediately apologize for my bad English.

I'm setting up 2fa on an old version of sssd (1.6.1), everything works fine with one smartcard. But when connecting several smart cards, I do not have the option of choosing which smart card p11_child should read certificates from.

Is there any way to select smart cards for p11 child?
I am aware of the new behavior p11_child added in 2.6.0 and p11_yuri added in 2.1 but I need it to work on sssd 1.6.1

Any idea how can I do this?

We still have some similar requests opened (#5905 and #5904), so there is no currently way to do what you are looking for.

We are still triaging all our issues (over 300) and selecting/prioritizing them accordingly.

Assuming we work on this someday, it would not be ported to SSSD 1.x versions.
