scroll wheel inputs in recording a macro?

I haven't been able to find any info on this specific issue so I guess I should point it out; there doesn't seem to be any way to bind scroll wheel to a button without it being a single input? when recording a macro I'm unable to input scroll wheel but every other input on keyboard/mouse/controller works fine while recording a macro.. is this intended or? if so is there not another way to bind scroll wheel to a button as repeat while held?

The macro section is a pretty old feature from the original Jays2King version. It's mainly been grandfathered in to keep compatibility there. It's not really a good solution and needs redone at some point, but I think Ryochan has said he's not doing it any time soon, and really discourages using it.

If you absolutely need macro support, I recommend AutoHotKey.
