which exact manga and anime is causing this? i cant seem to reproduce this.

I encountered it in 2-3 mangas' info paages but didn't screenshot it, now I am attaching a screenshot from the Manga i could remember.
There could be more mangas like this.

It seems this is happening when you open any manga from Manga List, it will be fixed in the upcoming update.

Actually clicking on Any Manga or Anime from Manga list or Anime list
does NOTHING !!

why create a Library & these Lists ?
they are redundant
& confusing.

it was working on my local builds thats why i assumed that, and where exactly are you opening these mangas from?

for custom lists, they are helpfull for people who wanna keep a local custom list arranged according to their desire.
since with anilist its just ordered by status.

I am opening these Mangas/Animes from the Home page (Recommended sections).
and Yeah I said its confusing because in earlier version I could open any Manga or Anime from those 'List' but now its just a list that does nothing but show me what I have Reading/ planning/ paused/ completed/ dropped etc......
It doesn't open any Manga or Anime from the Lists.
That's why I had to go through the trouble of manually searching all my Mangas & Animes and Add them to this 'Library'.

Ah i see, why that caused the confusion.. actually the app is going through a rewrite that's why some things appear to be broken. I am planning to release a stable build really soon, you can wait for that.
