TakoStats refuses to work on Google Pixel 8

TakoStats installed from the Google Play Store refuses to work on my Google Pixel 8. It does not show up the overlay nor record game app FPS. I paid 190 INR subscription plan and I would at least expect it to work, if not display all the stats.
Here is my configuration-
Google Pixel 8 128GB
Android 14 August Patch 14(AP2A.240805.005) with July Google Play Store patch.
Display overlay under compatibility mode.
Shizuku Access

What I expect to happen-

Atleast use the app and record FPS when playing Asphalt Legends Unite

Works on Honor 200, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, MagicOS 8.0 Android 14 August Patch.
TakoStats app version= Version 2.1.1.r315.d87828f5c2
Installed from Play Store. Paid for the subscription.

As a sincere request, if this is not possible for fixing, I would appreciate a full refund of 190 INR. It’s a paid app and the least I can expect is it to work. Replies/help is appreciated.
