I encountered an error while building the corpus. Can I solve it by installing the latest wikiextractor?

It should be possible, you can try using latest version first. Because we conducted testing on the 0.1 version of wikiextractor, the version we used in the documentation is 0.1. Encountering some warnings is normal, but encountering error that can cause interruptions is a bit strange. Can you show the error log?
