Hi.

I've just opened Puzzle Toolbars for myself and I think it's great. A must have for an extension maniac like myself - gotta store these addon icons someplace convenient and easy to access.

I especially like the Corner Bar exactly because unlike other toolbars it floats without filling all the window's width, and leaves more space for page's content. And I'd like to propose two useful enhancements for it:

  1. Option to float Corner Bar vertically (with icons forming a column) without consuming all the window's height like Lateral Bar does.
  2. Option to attach Corner Bar to the top-right and top-left corners of the window.

Oh, I almost forgot to thank you for developing this wounderful addon. Thank you very much!

You're very welcome, I'm glad you like it. :)

  1. I did try to add an option like this to the lateral bar, although I have to admit I don't remember why I ended up leaving it out... I'm almost sure it interfered with the sidebar working properly (especially with my other add-on OmniSidebar), but I will give it another try and let you know.

You could however enable auto-hide in the lateral bar, and it will give you a similar feeling of space saving, as in it will roll over the webpage rather than compress it when it shows.

  1. This one will probably be impossible. Besides the added difficulty to show it by moving the mouse to a very narrow region at the top, there's already a lot going on at the top chrome area to add more "movement" like this. Especially if you consider I already have two other add-ons that mess with the top chrome in similar ways; for instance, this would make it impossible to use the findbar at the top as well. ;)

Likewise to my previous point, you could use the Slim Chrome feature of my other add-on The Fox, Only Better to auto-hide all of the top chrome, which includes the top puzzle toolbar by default, so it won't compress the webcontent either.
