I've noticed you mentioned the next step is binding to Nix C++ codebase.

So there are 2 choices:

Hoppy now does implement exception handling, but I'm wondering why not fficxx?

I don’t know, back in the days I compared some C++ binding libraries and arrived at the conclusion that hoppy is the way to go. That could have changed in the meantime.

You can use what you deem better, if you want to give it a shot.

I remembered why I opted for Hoppy: It has a fantastic tutorial and good documentation.
