Polar regions: How to deal with poor compass?

Bastien/Estelle/Robert: take into account the magnetic declination is key in high latitude region, or if declination changes significantly during mission

Shelf break (shallow dives) :

• use ADCP BT
• Compass check / calibration on-land before deployment, perform in-water compass cal when reaching shelf break, and apply corrections in DM
• The GPS error has a stronger effect on the overall DAC accuracy for shorter dives (see sensors - GPS section for recommendations)
