Remote administration of linux device

As administrator of a diverse set of linux kiosk devices (e.g. both x64 and arm),
Instead og managing the devices manually and on-site,
I need to make sure the device is configured correctly according to standards even though I am on a different location than the device, because i want to be able to use less time managing the systems, and thus be ready to scale.
