I have a question about why this particular RJ45 jack was used. I can see that is has the magnetics built in but why does it also have a diode bridge rectifier? Is the rectifier necessary?

I'm having a very hard time finding RJ45 jacks with integrated diode bridges. My usual sources are JLCPCB where I order my assembled PCBs from, and Mouser Electronics. Are there any other good sources you could share?
Thanks!
