why would these two highly similar files not report the same tags? Also, why are the tags ordered alphabetically in JPC_AV_00004 but not in JPC_AV_00011?

hmmm, mkvnote doesn't do any ordering within the tag sections ("Already Embedded" vs the remaining unused tags of the profile). It just uses the same output from mkvextract, like mkvextract tags Blakes_2025_plunge.mkv, so maybe the order is based on when it was embedded?

OK. Maybe not a real issue/concern. Will keep open for a bit longer to see if anything needs resolved.
