Hi, I had an idea : I went to the "miktexstartup.ini" file and I changed the path "D:/Logiciels/MiKTeX/texmfs/texmf_local" to "/Logiciels/MiKTeX/texmfs/texmf_local". After a test with TexMaker, everything works fine. Can someone confirm to me that I did not do something stupid that will spill over into something else later? Besides, is there a way to make it automatic without this "hacking", in a future update? Thank you in advance for your answer. |

Hi,
I put MiKTeX Portable on my USB key for work, with TeXMaker, for serveral years, and have never had any problems. My personal .sty is in my texmf_local directory (created by me) and was successfully installed with the Miktex console.
But today, on another PC at my work, the letter of my usb key has changed (D: -> F :).
On the miktex console, I see that the paths to the root directories have been automatically updated (F:), except for my home root directories (still D:)...
(I realized this when Texmaker could not find my .sty anymore, and the problem is solved when I modify the path in the miktex console)
As the situation will recur regularly, is there a way to get the path to be automatically updated?
My texmf_local directory is in the D:\Logiciels\MiKTeX\texmfs folder.
So I thought I would just remove the letter from the path but it's impossible...
Thank you in advance for your help !
