Hi, I installed the portable version of MiKTeX on a flash drive, from my personal computer. I then put the flash drive into my work computer. It requires that I enable BitLocker, so it is encrypted and has password protection. When I start miktex-portable.cmd nothing happens. I looked at the file and it appears to run D:\miktex-portable\texmfs\install\miktex\bin\x64\miktex-console.exe. Maybe I shouldn't have, but I attempted to run that, and I got an error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
Is this related to the BitLocker protection? Will the portable version not work if I am using BitLocker protection? Any suggestions?
