Hello, I am on Windows 10 20H2 (OS Build 19042.1889) using cmd.exe as commandline. I got the MiKTeX Setup Utility from https://miktex.org/download. I used the following command to create a local package repository:
When I try to install a portable instance of MiKTeX essential now using command
I get the following error
I already tried to run cmd.exe as administrator. The *.log-file inside During my Google research I stumbled upon https://tex.stackexchange.com/a/643631 and https://tex.stackexchange.com/a/462216. Unfortunately, adding https://mirror.koddos.net/CTAN/systems/win32/miktex/tm/packages/miktex-zzdb2-2.9.tar.lzma to The same issue also occurs for the package sets I also read https://miktex.org/howto/local-repository and https://docs.miktex.org/manual/miktexsetup.html. I don't see a mistake in my commands. Can someone please help me resolve this issue? |

For anyone interested:
I changed the path of the local package repository after I downloaded it and missed to correct my prepared install command. Thus, the issued error was absolutely correct, the specified package repository was no longer at the path I specified with the install command. I just had to correct the value of parameter
--local-package-repository
.
