Feature request: API for Forecast Data

I am looking forward to have access to more open data.

I am the author of https://github.com/caco3/MeteoSwiss-Forecast. This tool currently grabs the latest forecast for a zip code (eg. https://www.meteoschweiz.admin.ch/product/output/forecast-chart/version__20231018_1447/de/800100.json) and uses it to generate a forecast graphic. This is mainly used in a Home Automation Dashscreen. Currently it is only used on a custom internal website, but if a stable data API could be provided, I am interested to provide a Home Assistant Integration.

Wishes:

• Currently the data only covers a resolution of 1h. it would be great to also have a 10 minutes resolution like in the MeteoSwiss app.
• The proposal in this repo only proposes to provide CSV, but it would be useful to have it as JSON as well.
• For now my repo does not contain the icons for legal reasons. it would be great to provide them with a permissive license for direct integration.
• Currently one has to poll https://www.meteoschweiz.admin.ch/product/output/forecast-chart/versions.json to see if new model data is available. It would reduce server load if an interval or estimate for the next model run could be added.
