Loading data from a single GRIB file is the most common way of defining the source of an input, which should be better supported by finch:

  • Define new config values for a default GRIB data file and a default GRIB constants file
  • Implement two functions: One for retrieving normal data and one for retrieving constant data
  • Implement a function which combines the two functions from above
