BEFORE CONTINUING:

  • Always check you are using the latest version of these mods and its dependencies
  • Remove known problematic rendering mods such as Optifine, Sodium and others

Version-Loader

1.21.1-FABRIC

Moonlight Lib Version

fabric_1.21-2.17.17

Describe the Issue

Upon loading the game, it shows a "Resource Reload failed" message on the top right, and when trying to apply resource packs it says the same message and doesn't apply them. Removing moonlight libs and its dependants fixes the problem.

so try new version first. this issue might happen at random and idk why exactly. then try to turn off the clear resources config in the mod common configs

Looks like version fabric_1.21-2.17.19 fixes it, restarting the game it no longer says the message, and applying new resourcepacks still doesn't say it. So I think it's safe to say the issue is fixed, thanks for the help!

The issue has once again shown its ugly head when updating to fabric_1.21-2.17.20.

I saw in the changelogs there is a way to disable dynamic resource packs, how do I do that?
